Default Back In The Fold

had to part ways with my first s2 a little over a year and a half ago. a sad day, to say the least. just wasn't working out as a daily driver through the winter, and being my dd (without a garage, also), it was hard to keep clean. a dirty s2k is no good. big mileage, too, working in baltimore. also, my fiancee and i were planning on buying a house, and i didn't know what it would be like paying for the car and having a mortgage payment plus bills. i had to get rid of her.

i traded it in on a new base impreza; a monumental downgrade, to say the least. bought a house last january (2-car garage), and throughout the first year i felt very comfortable with my expenses. then the little lady started planning the wedding for october of this year, so i saw my oppurtunity. let's make a deal; you get a wedding, i get my car back.

i wanted to keep my beater, so i bought used. found an '02 near philly with 24,xxx miles on it; they sold it to me for $14,600 on june 29th. drove it back to hanover, pa, that day (the long way, of course); took me about 3 and 1/2 hours . top down the whole way. sunburn? who cares!

she's garage kept now; i get to keep her clean. i only put about 50-75 miles on her a week, just putting around town and to a golf course or two. i find myself going out in the garage on occasion, before i go to bed, just to say goodnight; lol. i am totally stoked. hope this wasn't too long or boring for you; it's just so good to be back, guys.
