Question Battery relocation to trunk (help please)

Hey everyone I'm looking to relocate my battery to the trunk of my car. I am currently running an Odyssey PC680 due to my HKS Supercharger setup calling for the fuse box to be rotated 90º which makes using a full size battery unusable.

I am tired of having to replace this dry cell battery every 2 years as well as it's poor cold crank power in the winter time. Luckily I have a NOCO power jump pack to get the car started but the battery is done at this point with the case starting to warp and bulge out.

I was hoping there was someone locally who has done this before and would be able to help me with the relocation. I know I can always pay a shop but i don't have $480-$650 to get this done when I have seen multiple DIY's across the interwebs.

I can provide food, drink, camaraderie, and if needed some cash for your time. We can even make this a Tech Day like we used to do back in the day. I live in Baltimore and have a driveway this can be done in. I am also able to drive to just about anywhere in DC-MD-VA to get this done.

I hope someone is out there to help me with this. I really want to get back on the road in a reliable car again.

*Example* Something like this would be great so I can run a full size battery.

*Example* I also have a sub and amp set up in my trunk. Something like this would be great so I can run a full size battery as well as power my sound.

Here you can see the fuse box rotation to make room for the blower.

This is how the battery is currently set up.
one locally that has done this before and could work with me to relocate this to my trunk

I'd look at Lithium batteries that fit in the same space as you're using now. Expensive but drop in. I found a battery in the trunk of my Alfa roadster to be a PITA and it required giant cables to get though amps up to the starter. (No recommendations as my standard battery works just fine.)

Thanks I looked into the Lithium options. One of my problems is I have an alarm that has quiescent current (draws current when the car is off) it will deplete the lighweight lithium battery more rapidly than the stock battery. Which is part of what I’m dealing with now with the dry cell small battery after the car sits for 6 days or more.

Compare Amp hours. If the lithium has more it will power the alarm longer.

I understand. My main concern is relocating the battery. If a good lithium battery can be found I would consider it in the trunk.
