Took the day off yesterday to spend the day with my (finally parolled) CPA-wife. We had a great time. Did breakfast and then took a sweeeeeeet drive out through the country together. First time she's probably enjoyed the convertible -- which was nice...

So we're driving a long with the top down & its beginning to get a tad toasty in the cabin. So my "man-logic" kicks in & I figure: [fat lil' hamster stumbles onto the wheel & starts running...well...fast walking, okay?] If I can enjoy the top down when its cold by turning on the heater...then why not enjoy the top down when its hot by turning on the A/C? A legitimate thought! Soz I do, and my wife turns to me and asks, "Did you just turn on the A/C?" Yup! "Why'd ya do that?! The tops down!"... And I replied, "BECAUSE I CAN!"

Fact of the matter is, she appreciated it. And so did I. It got hot up here yesterday (today too!). But I'll be damned if I'm gonna put my top up to appreciate the A/C!!! I just blasted it & it actually kept us quite comfy. Knocked off the humidity in the cabin & kept us probably 10 degrees cooler!

 

LOL!!! I'm sure lots of folks do that but you'll never get them to admit it!

Wingman, I was waiting for you 'man-logic' to kick in and say 'so I told Taska to take her top off, too.' LOL.

(At least, that's what my 'man logic' would say to my wife, then she would promptly give me that 'whatever' look.)

Yeah, but I'm just over the primordial-ooze-curve enough in grey matter to know that her taking her top off would *not* cool me down...it'd just make me hotter!

 

i do too....but i'd rather just get on the gas!
