Default Best deals in the NoVa / DC area

Which dealers in the northern VA / DC area are offering the best deals right now? Maybe the end of the month and quarter is a good time to buy? First 2003 Berlina <$30k and <50 miles gets my business.

Andy P at Jim Coleman Honda. If he ends up in the hospital and is unable to take your call, Jackie at same place.

Both are respected board members and S2000 owners themselves.

Went with Ourisman Honda. Excellent experience. Fast and professional. Delivered the car to my office this afternoon. Ask for Loc Truong - great guy.

Some of the "salesmen" I ran into at Honda dealerships were a riot. Good to see that there are still some good sales professionals out there. I was beginning to worry about Honda.

So you get an S2000... post about it on the board... and don't tell us what you got?

Were you able to get the black? Any OEM extras- spoilers, etc.? I guess you'll be Zaino'ing soon !

Welcome aboard. I hope to see you at a meet in the near future!!!

Yes, black/black. No special options.

I suspect S2000 sales may increase since the 350Z and RX8 reviews are not coming out that great. Maybe some folks waiting on those cars will decide to buy a S2000. Easy decision in my mind.

Been using Zaino for over 3 years and swear by it. Put it on every new car I get. Not only does it look great, but I'm convinced the cars stay cleaner.

Besides the dealer installed option, what alarms have folks been happy with? Seems odd that Honda doesn't put an alarm on the S2000, when Accords (priced $7k less) come with alarms.

I got mine done for $500 at Falls Church/Fairfax area.

Clifford: pager alarm, motion sensors, and loud noise makers/sirens. (Remote starter optional, free of charge if you want it). It's awesome.

If interested in alarm, let me know. I don't do the installs, but this guy who installed it was awesome, and his next door neighbor/company's owner drives a S2K and he also installed some tv monitors, etc on his S2K.

He works w/ many exotics. When I picked up mine, he was installing the exact same alarm into a NSX. Nice!

Let me know if you are interested, I have his card in my car. You can call me on my cell 703-371-8992 and I'll give you his number. His name is Suneil. Mention the LT'S S2K with Black S2000 send you his way.

Later,

LT

Honda S2000 sales are actually WAY down so far this year versus last year: American Honda sold 2,423 S2000's during Q1 last year, and only 1,728 S2000's during Q1 this year (a sales decline of 27.7%!). Q2 sales data should be out soon....
