Default Beware of Joplin Rd

Added 9/24/04 by Skip

HEAVEN'S GATES ARE OPEN!!!

Paved, painted, and virtually pebble-free!

Joplin is being repaved. I found out the hard way today on 09/04/04. Only the right side had been done, heading toward Manassas, so the other side will be done too.

It was still pretty sticky and messy when I drove it. Can someone let us know when Joplin is completely paved and dry? It is one of the best driving roads in Northern Va.

I can... I work at Quantico. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know it was scheduled for work. The good news is it will be sweeeeeeet when it's done!

And yes, it's the closest thing to the Dragon up here.

I just drove Joplin last week in my new beater. I didn't even know I was driving by it beacuse I wasn't familiar with anything after the FF2Turnaround Point.

Long story short...eleven-year-old Integras can get a little squirrely when the suspension unloads

I'm glad it wasn't being paved THAT day

I've never been on that road before, I don't think. What's a decent route that I could get to easily from Fairfax County?
