Default Biggest Loser 2011

Welcome to the 3rd annual S2ki Mid-A Biggest Loser competition!

I am the reigning champion for the past two years (some say unbeatable). So in the interest of still having someone to compete with, I will not participate in the winnings this year. I would instead like to offer a $50 bonus prize for anyone that can lose a higher percentage of weight then me over the course of the contest.

Here is how it works:
* Contest runs from 1/10/10 to 4/11/10 (three months).

* The buy in is $20 and is due and payable to me [I'll PM you my PayPal address if you decide to join] on or before January 10th.

* Everyone is to post a pic of their scale clearly showing their weight sometime during the day EVERY Monday of the contest. This can be in the morning what you are getting ready for the day, during your lunch break, or sometime in the evening. It doesn't really matter just so it is sometime within that 24 hour period. I hope your feet are photogenic.

* The winner is the person that loses the highest percentage of their original weight.

* Initial "Weigh In's" are to be posted on January 10th. These are the numbers that will be used to judge the final percentage dropped.

* A Google Spreadsheet will be generated to keep track of everyone's progress.

* The contest is open to anyone that can PayPal me a Jackson before January 10th. (No late entries, sorry...)

This whole thing is 100% honor system based . If you can't trust me to keep track of the money and administer the contest or your fellow competitors to play fair, don't bother joining us. There are NO refunds of your money. Once you sign up, you pledge those funds to the winner, whomever that may be.

Haha Ro, if you lost any weight you could simply float your way to CA in a stiff breeze.

I'm about 10lbs over my ideal weight, but I don't think that's going to amount to anywhere close to enough to win this thing. I'm shooting for a PR in a 5mi run I have coming up this March, and hoping the 10lbs take care of itself along the way.

I think these contests are good ideas though. Good luck to all.

If Goldenfri is running it, I'm definitely out this year. I can only get beat so many times before I move on.

Seriously though, I'm happy to say that I am out. Last year at this time I was 245 and couldn't do a single pullup, probably the worst shape of my life. This year I'm 215 (6'-3") and recently completed more than 125 pullups as part of a single workout. I've come a long way in a year and can't wait to see where I can take my fitness level and weight is no longer a serious concern of mine.

This contest got me started last year so I'd like to wish everybody good luck. Get it done!
