On another note. Don't the clips in the trunk have little pull handles on them?

Sorta... Just push the center in and they get loose to make them easier to pull out.

I managed to push one of mine ALL the way in... Thank GOD I can't hear it rattle around in there.

there are 3 types of clips in the trunk, the 3 with handles for the spare tire cover, the 2 piece ones described above, and then the regular one piece clips that always break.
