For those who are interested, I'm down very near Annapolis, MD. I haven't ruled out another S yet, but I have to get a car soon to make it to work on Sunday, and I doubt I'll find something decent in the next week that's priced right and close enough to drive to get.
The car had just clicked over 100k, and I had had it just shy of a year. I'm planning on letting them total it out if that's the direction they go, and right now it looks likely.
If I manage to pick up an AP2, I'll still be letting go the extra AP1 wheels/tires though. My wife was like "you knew the car was rough in the wet/cold and still did it though. I think she'd be down for a new one though.
KBB puts my car at $13.5k, anybody know how well USAA tends to pay out? I'd be looking at anything up to about that, maybe $14k max
I'm all over the map right now though for replacements. Looking at (all manual) Bugeye wrx wagons, Legacy 2.5GTs, 1st gen Caddy CTSs, G35 coupes and sedans, and maybe even an E46 something. And the right AP2 is also on the list as well.

Sad to hear that yet ANOTHER S2000 may be a total loss.
The 350z Will behave the same as your S2000 on Black ICE.
I personally think the 350z is a PIG and the S2000 is superior in every way shape or form. My brother used to have a 350z and i've spent some time behind the wheel of one.
