What the heck is a swinging drum kit? Details.

Craziest drum kit I've seen was Slipknot. The drummer was in a racing seat and harness and I wasn't sure why... until the whole thing lifted about 12-15 feet on a hydraulic lift and then he tilted forward 90 degrees so the crowd was staring at the top of the kit, then as if that wasn't cool enough, it started rotating.

Similar to this, but it was the first tour they did it so it wasn't as mature as this act.

Travis Barker, and his entire drum set, were suspended from the ceiling, hanging like 20 feet above the stage (maybe higher), and the whole thing started swinging, and flying around, and then started spinning, all during a drum solo.

It wasn't from the show last night, but it gives the general idea. I'm sure its the same routine every concert.

I saw them a few years ago in VB before they split up and for Travis' solo at that show he was on a small platform that rose up from underground near the middle of the crowd. It was awesome.

I cant say i like the band personally. But as a musician i have to say that Travis really puts everything he has into his drummin. Glad you had fun papa bear.
