Well, my '01 stook was not "brand-spankin'-new". It had 3K "young" miles on it. Happily, I can say, I purchased it from CarMax for right at $30K. Not a bad deal & its proven to be a great car. If you can get MSRP...and you *should* be able to get that, then you should be happy. If you can do better (might be tough sell with all the warm weather we've been having ), then all the better for you.

dkhl had recently covered all your bargaining territory & ended up with a Suzuka for msrp from West Broad Honda.

VA S2K somewhat recently...been 'bout a month now traded in his silver for a Spa from Williamsburg Honda. He too seemed to have gotten a good deal, if memory serves.

Oh, and the "Big Pimpin" remark wasn't meant to be bad
I know!! It was really funny - I guess I over did it with that hat didn't I. Definitely no offense taken.

I have to pick up a good 'ol Kangol breakin' suit like the old days and put in the Big Daddy Kane.....

Goooood. I like being one of the few blues around here. The only thing that stands out about my Suzuka are the tail lights as I stealthily howl on by....

Goooood. I like easily spotting my S2K Spa brethren! And E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G stands out about the SPA!

I have a yellow 2001, but blue looks awfully nice. I guess it comes down to if you like a little added attention go with yellow it draws attention all the time.

My last two seater was yellow and it was very eye catching, but the blue on my 02 really is classy and seems to reflect more of the "upclass" that I want to project with ownership. The blue interior is spectacular and really closed the deal for me. I love it. Very rare and looks great with the silver accents. I also think this blue is one of those "dawn to night" cars that really looks fantastic under neon lights or street lights. The lines of the car are highlighted by the metallic finish and with a set of hyperblack or black chrome wheels, this Suzuka is going to look like it cost twice the price. Yellow definitely is more "look at me" but I was surprised to find myself preferring the blue. My girl said the color was something you wouldn't see much and when it comes to seeing myself coming and going, I believe at present, I have the only suzuka blue S2000 in Vermont so I think standing out in this case means having the one color no one else has. I think the yellow rocks though but I don't like black interiors so that killed it for me. White with red looks great (especially with white wheels) but white (my .02) doesn't compliment the lines of cars very well though I must admit, there are some white ones here that look awesome. Red is a cliche (sorry guys) though as expected, looks fantastic. Silver with red is a winner. Yikes! Good thing I saw all the other colors over time before this blue called out to me from the showroom floor. When I took delivery, I saw the car parked outside and under natural lighting for the first time and it looked phenominal. I was very pleased having thought, "hmm, maybe I should have held out for the yellow," but seeing it under the sun for the first time did it for me. My only complaint is I just wish they had made the top a dark blue instead of black. I have actually considered a shop re-doing it...that's how much better I think it would have looked. Euro version?
Yellow is a great choice though. Glad you made it. I love my 1% suzuka blue and would prefer that percentage stay there!
