The Bruised Banana's Corners be cleared!!!
W1ingman, are the JCWhitney markers the flat indicator lights that people were using before some of the sponsors starting importing JDM lights? If so, didn't they have trouble getting them to fit the stock hole? I seem to remember that they were just a little bit too small and rattled around a bit. I liked the look of the flat marker, but I went with the JDM markers from Rick's just b/c I wanted an easy plug-n-play solution. In any case, enjoy. As for the emblems, it's a matter of taste, bald or not. :-)
I think you're right on the "wiggle-factor"...but I also am aware that those flat markers were ordered from carparts.com (not that these JCW.com's might not be veeeeery similar in base-design...). Just won't know until I get 'em. But I want that flush & super-clear (vs. frosted/diffused) side-marker. I'm figuring I can work with one material or another to fabricate a wider sub-base (like a washer works with a screw/bolt) in the same design as the marker base itself but slightly larger yet... And that is, of course, if the marker proves to possess a "wiggle-factor"

Contact MacGyver (sp?) - I think his name is actually Dan - as he did a write-up on trying to modify the flat marker to fit:

Seems a very decent guy, an engineer, and has gone about his mods with frightening precision/thoughtfulness.
In any case, have fun and post a photo when you're done!
