wow my condolences.
this is a big fear for me, i dont want to have to downgrade because of financial issues. the economy really sucks right now and unemployment is at an all time high, and debts are high. im determined to payoff the car and keep it, only 5k left..

once again im sorry for ur loss, i can only imagine how that would feel, but it sounds like you are makin the best of it. goodluck bro

Thanks guys. It does suck in ways, but there are some positives.

1) Less of a car payment
2) cheaper insurance
3) cheaper to fix should anything happen
4) Its allowing me to get out of alot of debt I should never have gotten into.

Lessons learned the hard way I guess. Had I not been dumb and got into other debt, I'd probably be under 5k left on the car too!

I am exceedingly grateful that the economic downturn found me with no car payments!
