I just got off the phone with Cale's buddy Matt. Cale is an organ donor and he's being prepped for surgery so he can give the gift of life to many grateful recipients. They are being prepped for their donor organs and when they're ready Cale will go into surgery--probably 12 to 24 hours from now.

There will be a memorial service and reception in Hagarstown within the next few days. When the time and place are finalized I'll let you know.

Godspeed Cale, we'll never forget you.
How appropriate... Cale giving to others!

On behalf of the Allegheny Club, please allow me to extend our thoughts & prayers to Cale and his family.
Cale loved Pittsburgh and the Allegheny area. There are some great roads up there.

No matter how he did on the track it sounds like he was a winner in life. RIP.

So sad. He was a great guy. I only met him once, but he was the type of person that left an impression. My prayers go out to his family.

So sorry to hear this. My sincere condolences to Cale's family and close friend.

I never met him but I recognize the pic on page 1 with JFO.

I was fortunate to meet Cale a couple of times at autocrosses. Just from that, I already knew him as a kind and friendly person in that short period.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cale and his family.

Wow, I talked to my brother today and he told me what happened to Cale. I am saddened and crushed. He was a great guy. He gave me pointers and answered all my noobie questions. I don't even have an s2k. He was always laid back and easy going. His spirit will live on with me when i study his lines on you tube over and over again. Cale go easy on Dale (#88) when you line up with him in heaven. it's ****ing eerie.... Cale and Dale same type of injuries doing what they loved. Godspeed Cale. kevin
