been itching to try airsoft lately. i used to paintball but financially it's a stupid sport to get in to when airsoft is available. an airsoft arena is also very close to home. going to go this sunday to TAA in rockvile. i know that after my first time i'm going to want to buy a gun so i've been researching like crazy lately. i was wondering if anyone could give me the low down on these guns and/or suggest a good entry-level gun. i understand that these are mechanical devices that are bound to fail sooner or later but reliability is the key factor in my eyes. i am fairly certain that i would be able to perform most repairs/maintenance/upgrades on my own. there are a number of guns for sale locally on craigslist. the absolute maximum i will spend is $150 (lol, i know). these are specific ones i have my eye on:

-Classic Army MP5
-Echo1 p90
-Echo1 g36c
-Echo1 M4
-ICS M4

whichever gun i end up getting must be a model of one of these, regardless of manufacturer:
-MP5
-p90
-M4
-M16
-G36c
-FAMAS

or get an all metal M4, but it is a little bit more $$$

And definately get a blowback gas pistol at some point, tons of fun!

Don't like TAA too much, the fact that there is no space in there and the you prety much shoot each other at point blank does not make it too exiting. Better then nothing though.

Definately try outdoors, lots more fun!

Use BB pistol at TAA, you'll own everyone, really easy to manuveur and aim in CQB

the echo1 g36c is my best option right now, probably will end up picking it up locally from this guy on craigslist
