In talking to Mike from AMS Tuning, we decides on a date to get my MY04 wheels powder coated in Black Chrome. Here is the catch...I will have to rent a car for the duration of the powder coating.

Mike suggested, and it makes damn good sense, that I see if anyone here in the MD/VA area would be willing to loan their stock wheels/tires to me for the duration of the powder coating.

If you feel that you can help accomodate me on this matter, please PM me or e-mail me @ mrigooroo@hotmail.com .

We can work out the "logistics" of the loan on a one-on-one basis.

The wheels are going to the shop on the 2nd of June, the Monday after next.

Thank you,

C.J. - The MRI Guru

Sorry, can't afford to have you running around on my shaved RA1's!!! Now, if they still had the crappy ES100's on them, well that might be a different story.

Snow Tires????????????????????????? For a whole three to four days...I might just be able to swing it. Now, the physics of the matter is whether or not it would possibly damage my baby. What do you all think?

I am more than willing to try it if it would work out alright.

Thanks for your replies! You guys are great.

Please let me know your opinions on this matter.

I got set of OEM's with All Seasons on them. They should handle better than Snow tires. Since my car's out of commission, you're more than welcome to borrow them. It has Rick's Black with Red S wheel center caps.

I'll be car shopping this weekend, but we should be able to work out a time. Here's my cell: 703-371-8992, and I'm in Arlington, VA.
