In most cases yes. However there isnt anything to stop a stock intake from pulling water into the engine. It was sitting for 2 weeks.


Guess it could also be a broken timing chain or valve retainers tha caused everything to enter out of time.

Just seems unlikely that anything but water or over-rev would cause a big hole in the block.

eh, either way hope it works out.

Checking the oil every few hundred miles is critical. These cars can eat oil.

I hope it ends up warrantied. At least a hole in the block is a good reason for your car to stop working

It'll be interesting to see what the bethisida shop says about the car....

Anyone been to Sibley hospital before?
