Default Car Trenz

wondering what types of mods / recommendations you have. I purchased wheels/tires volk/toyos from them - in Rockville. Overall a pretty good experience. They want me to lower the car -- put braces... All I wanted were the wheels/tires. I noticed an incredibly changed S2K - had to double take to make sure it was an S2K. Paint job alone was about 5 colors in the orange family - started with a red S2k - my favorite color.

They are okey, but buy what you need to buy. Don't get stuff that you didn't intend to get before you walked into the store.

Only dealt witht them once. It was OK, but they treated some poor kid, who was trying to return a part they sold him (which was not for his car!!!), like shit.

It's been my experience that it's really hot or cold with them. Either they're happy to help you and get you the right part in a reasonable timeframe or they act like you're nobody and they're deigning to help you, you get the wrong part (and have trouble returning anything) and it take 4-6 weeks longer than the 2-3 weeks they told you it would take.

ex: It took nearly 3 months for me to get my strut bars from them.

I purchased my foglights clears from them for my accord back when they first opened.

Charlies was a good friend of my roommate so he hooked me up. The other time i went when he wasn't around, was that they were pretty arrogant. He bought a red s2k and thought he was the man, trying to tell me how great the car was, not knowing i had one. Making up figures. who knows...

like animes2k said.. hot or cold...

I note a fairly common thread.. many similar experiences...
My experience was hit and miss, actually when I visit the steps involved - much more miss. I knew what I wanted. I got a fair price at Trenz on the CE28N's/tires. I picked up the tires excitedly - went to Merchants to put them on. At merchants they wanted to know if I had spacers/hub concentric rings for the wheels. Merchants also told me that the OEM lug nuts were not really fitting well to the wheel. I told them I got nothing at Trenz, assuming nothing was needed. I called Trenz while Merchants was putting the wheels/tires on. Trenz told me drive the car over 60 - if it shakes - come by for the rings.. The car drove fine - but I still wanted the rings.. I also did not like the way the lug nuts looked on the wheel - thinking about black lugs and perhaps center caps. Anyhow when I went back to Trenz the guy gave me the 4 rings and new lug nuts for the CE28N's!! I went back to Merchants - for another $19 they put the rings/lug nuts on the tires. Done!! oh yea - I was told at Trenz that the black lug nuts can chip/rust.

I said pretty good experience - I guess - NOT.. If I want the caps, I think I'll order them some other way. Actually they were not exactly clear on if it caps would fit. Keeps getting worse.. I think I'll stop here.
