What: Capital Driving Club Auto-X

When: Saturday October 11th

Where: Harry Grove Stadium, Frederick, MD

How: Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:45 to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute. If you don't get teched and registered by 8:45, you will lose your morning runs.

The event fee for the SATurday autocross is $25 for members and $35 for non-members at this event.

Reservations

Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time (see Schedule Section at www.capitaldrivingclub.com ). Open reservations for non-members for this event begin Friday September 19th.

Freeze on New Members

Our events are now so popular that our current members are starting to experience difficulty getting into their own events. As a result, we will be on a membership freeze until further notice (probably until May 2009). Current members can renew their membership and those that specifically requested membership prior to September 27th can still join the club. Otherwise, CDC will not be taking any new members.

Also... SUNday October 12th Test and Tune

This TNT (also at Harry Grove) will have a different format: We will have 3 heats. The Sunbeam National Meet will have cars autocrossing with us in heat 1.

Each participant should get about 8 runs (4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon).

Because of the larger field and the fewer runs, the entry fee for this TNT will only be $25 (rather than the usual $35).
