Regarding the stop gate... someone has to move the cone at the end. I think a little common sense tells the person not to stand directly at the end. I worked it during the afternoon session and stood about 15 feet away with my eye on the car. There was one car that had me ready to scramble even further but he kept it under control.

Unless Ed emailed Brian Karwan, every factory 5/cobra, and the silver Evo (other loud cars) this is complete BS if you ask me.
where are this quotes coming from?

The first email is from Ed Chan, sent to one of our friends over on ClubRSX who owns an RSX. The quote afterwards is the RSX owner's comment from ClubRSX.

The second email I'm not sure about but presumably that is the original email sent to Ed complaining about the exhausts.

IMHO if CDC wants to restrict excessive noise from cars thats fine. But -- it needs to be for all cars. Just because a stock Integra only has 91hp or whatever you want to say, doesn't mean that modded it can't make use of an exhaust that is as loud as a 450hp Cobra's.

Exactly, a little common sense goes a long way.
