Do it, Bill!! Street triple is very nimble and responsive!! I demo-rode one last Saturday.

People don't respect bikes.
Sorry but I disagree. From what I've seen, motorcyclists don't respect other drivers. They run right between the lanes of other cars on the highway, they weave in and out of lanes, forcing the cars to swerve and slam on their brakes trying not to hit them, they drive up the shoulder as if the rules don't apply to them.

So I'd say bikers don't respect other drivers. But whether you're on a bike, a car or a tractor trailer, be careful.

Hah, no I'm keeping this one. Then again, that is what I said about all my parts I bought, the NSX, the STi, the Evo8, and a lot of other things. Oh well...

Started riding last night... actually riding, not just scooting it up a couple of feet. I have a new respect for people who ride bikes, it's not as easy as it seems. Just learning the basics now - starting, breaking, and throttle response. It doesn't take but a flick of the wrist and you're over 4k rpms.

That goes both ways I would say. But the weaving in and out is from sport bikes 9/10 times.

Warren, of the people on here, I would have thought you'd be the last to lump all riders together. The riders you speak of exist, and as was stated, are almost always young sport bike riders. Perhaps you're speaking from your experience(s), however, I promise you, there are far more oblivious 4-wheel operators than 2-wheeled ones.

And the phrase, "Only the good die young" does not apply to motorcyclists.

On a much different note, glad to see you're alive!
