Default Cluth problems & possible car sale?

Hey guys, due to my financial problems and student loans I will have to part with my car to make due. First I have a problem with my clutch that needs fixing before I can sell it and part out of car. The resistance on it is way different these past few days compared to how it was before. When I push in the clutch, the first half goes through very easily, than the next half it feels normal. This has caused shifting into gears a very troublesome task. I don't know if this is easily fixed, or I need to get a new clutch and get it installed. Anyone have any ideas and can point me in the right direction of how to go about it. Thank you in advance!

+1 I just bled mine because it was completely black. If still loose, and there are no leaks at the slave cylinder, I would say your master cylinder is bad. Cheap and quick fix is to adjust the toe play via the 12MM nut and rod under the dash. Proper fix is to replace the MC.

I thought I had clutch trouble this summer but it turned out to be my CMC(it was leaking). The clutch pedal was hard to push down and wasn't smooth in either direction.

I took it to Honda, they told me my clutch was bad but I think they just wanted my money. I replaced my CMC and re-lubed the SMC and haven't had any trouble with it since. I did all the work myself and it cost me less than $100.

good luck

I haven't learned how to multi-quote yet. But this or what Gets2pd said.

I had the exact same issue a few weeks ago and it turned out to be the master/slave cylinders were going.
