Hey guys, I'll be traveling to NY this August with a stop over in or near Richmond. Is there any of you that can recommend a decent hotel near 95 that I could crash at for the night? I'm looking to spend around $50 or so for a room. Would like a fairly secure area of town since I'll be driving the S. I apreciate your help!

If you can make it another 50 miles or so north, you can stay at our house. We are 3 miles off the I-95 in Fredericksburg.

Getting a $50 hotel thats in a safe area of Richmond will be tough. You may want to look near Ashland, Va or just north of it.
