Yeah, i was just giving you lip? This was for windows right? anyhow, its cool to see a fellow S owner hacking it up. I tried to play tictactoe but the program exited after my first move. I compiled it on Sun Solaris and it compiled without any errors.
No syntax errors but maybe some logical errors.

You must be using a modified FORTAN compiler vice a straight C++ compiler.
The very first subroutine does not specify asc as a global or local variable. If this were used in Object oriented programming . . . . .. there would be problems!!
It isn't elegant but it works, i guess. Hope you did well!
