Default Cool auto event this weekend

Just found out about this from the DC Region SCCA. It's a bit of a hike, in Cumberland, but it looks interesting. I registered for their 2 day autox - www.nationalroadautosport.com

Or you can come out on Saturday to Summit Point for the SCCA DC Region's premier event: The 7th Annual Kumho 12hrs at the Point.

That's right, a 12 hour Endurance race. Starts at noon, ends at midnight. There should be close to 60 cars when the green flag drops.

Hope to see you there!

Gregg what car are you driving?

I may have to check this out. I thought they couldn't run there after 6:00 for Noise ordinances?

I'll be driving the #91 ITC Team Sisu 1st-gen CRX. It's white w/ green & blue waves. Unfortunately it turns out that we're probably going to be the only 'C' car out there...lots of Miatas and ITA cars (like the 2nd-gen CRX) though.

Cost is $25/person (kids under 12 free). This and more info can be found at the website I listed above on the "Spectator" page.

Hope to see you there!
