Anyone going to "Curry's Clash" 9/14?

it really wasn't anything big like i thought it would be. The grand opening was much bigger.

LIL RAJA, were you there at Curry's Clash? I didn't see any S2000s there, maybe you parked far away.
You should have stopped by and said "hi". I was hanging around my car in the shop. I am not sure if you saw S54 M Roadster being super charged there.

I still can't believe that 90 Talon put down 400 awhp!!! Forget Supra with 500+ rwhp, this Talon would eat anything on the road with AWD!!!
Well, for what is worth, Viper only put down 360rwhp. Not too impressive with all other tuned cars there.

 

Damn...I missed the Talon's run. Saw it in the lot, but left before it got on the dyno. 400 hp out of it is pretty impressive, that's for sure. I'm still salivating over the Supra though...560+ hp at 800 rpm under redline, and they couldn't get traction once the turbo hit full boost. Who know's what it would have really pulled. Apparently, the guys didn't have the boost up to it's max either. And the sound once the turbo spooled up was just awesome! The white WRX was pretty amusing though...it's BOV was louder than the exhaust... Saw it driving down the street...PSSSSSHHHHHHHH...shift to second...PSSSSSHHHHHHHH.....shift to third.... Cool sound, but WAY too much. I could just imagine accelerating next to a cop with the BOV hissing away It was nicely done though, with full leather upgrade, nicely detailed...

 

That white WRX is probably my friend's wife's car. Are you talking about that white WRX used to be parked right in the middle of Curry's parking lot?
Anyway, if it's the same WRX, it pulls about 255-260 awhp on Mustang dyno. That is good enough to dip into 12sec. There are many many fast cars in our area for sure. If you line up against a white WRX with a nice looking white girl inside, it's her!!!
