Diff Fluid - street use
You're fine running M1 75/90 for the diff. That's what Billman uses. I use Amsoil 75/110. If you need to stock up on Amsoil stuff just let me know. For the trans, I run Honda MTF2. I ran Amsoil 5/30 previously and it was ok. A proper clutch adjust will fix any notchiness more than any fluid could.
Honda does not make fluid for the rear differential on our cars (unless they started in the past few years). We had a cart with a 35 gallon drum & a hand pump. The bulk oil guy would top off every time he visited. It was rumored to be 90W & it went in everything that called for GL5.
I think that you will be fine with the M1. I personally run & recommend AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-110. If you run a quality fluid & change it yearly, you will be fine with whatever fluid decide to use. Change all your fluids yearly & you will avoid all kinds of potential problems. Hydrate... Hydrate... Hydrate...

If the car just cruises around town, I would say a 30k diff OIC is fine. But for any car that sees any "aggressive" driving, I think a 10-15k OIC is just right. I have seen many instances where dirty diff fluid can alter the handling of the car(the LSD).

I just changed my car's transmission and differential and i used Honda OEM fluids. No problems at all.
Dont wanna get jumbled up in the "number" game .. as long as it keeps my car running in good condition, im Cool

I currently run 75W140 Amsoil Severe Gear. In my last S2000s, I ran LE1605 which is a great fluid. Never had any issues with it. And yes, IMO, Honda MTF is the best stuff for the transmission.

I do not use CRV dual pump rear diff nor Pilot's diff fluid on our S2000s. We have 90 weight fluid pump tank in our parts department for only S2000 usage
Lots of S2000 customers bring their own rear diff fluid for their service (Mobil 1 75-90W) I personally like this a lot. I recommended Mo this also but what we have at Honda dealership is good enough.
