Default The difference between 03, 04, 06 MY

Any significant difference between MY 03, 04 and 06? I know that 04 and 05 are the same. Is it worth the $ to get MY 04+? I think the tires are wider, hence the better handling.

s2000's are slow, ugly and handle like a boat

NO.

I'd actually pay more for an '03 if I had to.

Do we really need to start an AP1 versus AP2 debate in this thread?

Nope - they're all still S2000's. Some of the things the AP2 has (like better transmission) kind of offset its shortcomings against the AP1 (lower redline).

For the record, I absolutely hate these threads - just buy a S2000 that is affordable to you. Whether you go with an AP1 or AP2 you'll be happy

"novaasian" sounds like you have what it takes to be an s2000 owner...

as far as a year....I'd say anything 02+ and you'll be really happy. I like my 01, but that plastic rear window kills me.
