OK, should we try our luck at MIR again this Friday? Forecast is for Partly Sunny skies and a high of 85deg.

I suggest the NOVA crew once again meet up at Chili's in Tysons (so I can get my pre-race margherita) at 6pm.

Perhaps someone should try to organize those on the other side of the river to head down as a pack.

I guess I'll drive straight down from work again this time, now I know how to get there ..... and come back.

on 495S, exit 7A Branch Ave. This looks like a highway, just stay on it, dont let Old Branch Ave. fool you for those going the first time.

Branch Ave. is Rte 5 I think, it takes you right into Rte 301, which is where you want to be at to see Rte 234, where you will be making a left, and MIR is on your right side in about 7-9 miles.

When coming back, stay on Rte. 5 towards Washington to get on the beltway, unless you want to get back on 95 sooner, then stay on your right on the way home. (only if you come out of MIR the oppsosite way of the direction above.)

Am also interested in going this Friday evening 8/24(?) to MIR. Went down for NOPI stuff a few weeks back - had a really good time. What time is everyone converging there - or is there a meetup beforehand. Am located in Rockville.
