downshift2drift's new miata...
Well, the 240sx was giving me issues and I am in a tight spot financially too so I knew I wasn't gonna be able to put her on the track for this year with the big boys so I decided not to keep it to just be daily driven because well, let's face it...that car was not meant to be daily driven...
I went ahead and picked up a 1990 Mazda Miata from the first owner in GREAT condition with only 84k miles on it...guy had all service records with him, bone stock to the cassette player...clean carfax...really loving it...
(I had one of these things about a year before I got the s2000 so I knew what I was getting into)
(except for the hood and trunk that got some hail damage but i'll get that handled soon)...
I did the necessary oil and fluid changes this past weekend and drove her about 500 miles...my best friend got me a set of 15" kazera kz-m spec miata wheels on toyo ra-1 r-compound tires for it...
plans for it are as follows:
KINDA redid my ideas since my new job is working out really well...
I'm working on the car with 2 different companies...so it'll have a couple different stages...
Stage1: (street driven daily N/A) completion: in a month or two
-14" daisies custom colored go back on
-car's getting SLAMMED
-front lip
-custom intake
-custom exhaust
-OER Subcon piggyback
-rx8 seats
Stage2: (street driven daily baller N/A) completion: one year
-stance coilovers
-suspension technique adjustable sway bars
-suspension technique adjustable end link
-ma motorsports custom steering knuckles and tie rods
-2-way competition differential
-baller 15x8 +0 offset wheels
-custom rollbar made by Lee Alexander Fabrications
-FIA buckets
-FIA harnesses
-comp. steering wheel
Stage3: (occasionally street driven non-daily turbo - drift ready) completion: 2-3 years
-Corvette LS1 motor with T56 transmission and Cadi CTS-V rear end thanks to ck autoworks
-Custom subframe and driveshaft thanks to flyin miata
-full rollcage (formula D comp.) by Lee Alexander fabrications
-APR adjustable spoiler
-big brake kit
-hydro e-brake

Sorry to hear you have to get rid of your 240sx toy, but glad to hear you found a proven fun car to own. With a big turbo it could be a drift car also.
I like your lists also except stereo and speakers since I'm not a music guy.
Congrats man and keep on tracking...
