lol, are you kidding? The Canadian tour is over 50 hrs driving in 6 days. It takes 10 hrs to get back in the groove after a winter off.

The s2000 is not the best car for long drives, had to drive mine 9 hours when i got it - made me swear im not going to spend so much time in it again...
still thinking of renting a trailer and drive my SUV to the dragon, it'll be way more comfortable to make the ride in a comfy SUV rather in the cramped cabin of the S2K (don't get me wrong, i love the S, but 10 hours??)

I drive the 8 hours from Alexandria to Fontana twice a year. No sweat at all. If the drive bothers you, take advantage of the special rate at the General Francis Marion Hotel in Marion, VA. Drive from NoVA to Marion one day, Marion to Fontana the next.

You won't get much sympathy from this group. We have all chris crossed the country and 10 hour days are the norm. Five to ten days in a row. Yes there are more comfortable vehicles but it beats sitting on a motorcycle all day. And it really beats sitting at my desk for 8 hours at work.
Did I mention that we take roads that you would not be comfortable pulling a trailer?

I'm headed down Tuesday morning. I'm trying to talk my wife in driving the Viper down as well. If she's not up to it, I'll be trailering the S2000.

We will see! If we are taking both cars, I'll be meeting up with the NY Tuesday crew around 9-10am. If I'm trailering, it's a solo trip so I don't slow anybody down.

Looking forward to it!

I was told today that I could make plans to go. Hopefully driving down Thursday and coming back Sunday. I'm open for caravanning.
