you guys must have gotten rained on pretty hard saturday... I actually almost flew over the dragon trying to get around the storms later in the day. I really wish I could have been there... sounds like yo had fun

Alex, I will tell you one version, there are several, but the guy I got it from was behind him when it happened.

The guys in front of him were drifting (autocross alot) around some of the whips and this idiot tries this out for his first time...on the DRAGON... So he ends up in the trees down the mountain. Lucky it didn't kill him. Totalled the car from what I heard. I didn't see the car, but Skip saw it on his way to Knoxville for more parts. Skip was having some issues with overheating, trapped air, etc. And still is. we had dozens of peeps trying to figure this one out.

Gotta go to bed now, I have had very little sleep.



PS: The sticky pod was great, the camera, not so great. Vibrations and DVD digital don't seem to mix. But I got some decent video, not what I wanted. Thanks again Alex for the loan, I will return it this week.

 

I was driving up the dragon when they were trying to pull it out. It was pretty funny watching the cop and tow truck driver trying to figure out how to get it out. I'm pretty sure it was totalled and at the least it was definitely messed up.

It should almost be illegal to have that much fun in a weekend, almost. I could do it every weekend.

Yeah that would make my butthole pucker. Mine didn't go out, but the stock brakes definitely don't cut it if your running hard.

What was your top doing UP???? Nice drive home, the rain through the Greensboro area was a bitch, but I kept the top down. Dave will be proud of me.
