Default DVD Audio... in the S?

This fall I wanted to replace the stock head unit with something nice so I can actually hear music with the top down and have some bass punch...

While poking around for information, I ran into this article about DVD Audio. The thing I loved most about the TL, which I was considering before I got the S, was the sound quality of DVD Audio. Don't really care about it playing DVD movies though.

What blew me away was that in the article, their diagram shows a roadster car having DVD audio and surround speakers. Do any of you know anyone that's done this? Can you actually have a good sweet spot for 5.1 surround in such a small car like the S? What do you all think?

Well, I have a pioneer DVD HU. Alpine just came out with a DVD HU. Neither have attached screens. I believe Yeloscreamer was looking into doing 5.1. Your toughest decision would be where to mount the center speaker... if you want to chop your dash or if you can find a small enough speaker (without resorting to just using a tweeter) and mount it in the center airvents.
