Shouldn't the dealership give a carfax of it's own?
And I'm asking to see if it belongs to a member on here. We can give you feed back on it if it is a members vehicle. Is that a good enough explanation for you?

Dealership in Nova.....Why?
Its at the Dars Cars Crysler dealer in Fairfax
02 Silver, no lip, no spoiler
Anyone know anything about the car?
Oh and about the dealership giving me a carfax, When i click on the carfax link that says click for the free carfax. It gives me a coupon to take to the dealership, not the actual report. I know people offten do carfaxes for eachother, and i tend to be impatient.

- a Carfax only picks up on major incidents dealing with DMV. If the car was hit by a train and DMV wasn't notified it will not be on the Carfax. All I'm saying is don't put too much stock in a Carfax - put stock in their marketing campaign

A while back someone I knew got a civic... you could tell that the car had been WRECKED... The dealership even said it had been in a serious accident and had been repaired. Air bags were deployed and everything... We decided to run a carfax afterwards and NOTHING showed up... it was a pretty much clean car according to carfax...
So yea don't just rely on carfax, go in and do your own careful checks...
Any tips for checking out a used car besides, pedal wear, making sure the lines of the cars line up, look for overspray.
What kinda wear should i look for on the Top?
Anything with an 02 I should double check? (I already looked at the TSBs)

you want to look at the body panels to see if they have the original VIN # badges on them. Fenders under hood, door panels, inside trunk. if they are missing the car could have had some body work done to it. thats the main way to check for any major wear. if there is something wrong with the body walk the hell away. good luck.
my self and poindexter and couple others work in the car business so we can give you some tips if you need them. let us know
