Bingo.. That's why I'm looking for an older / high mileage one. I don't think I can bring myself to get rid of the S, either. So I need to do this as affordable as possible.

And Raul... I love the 'Screw Aerodynamics' sticker... I'll have to get one of those.

Let me know what you find, price/year range. I'm def considering picking one up. I really like the newer ones, since they don't have all the plastic showing.

Well Aaron...any updates. Now I'm gonna be on you like white on rice.

BTW, my father in law was so impressed with my '05 ELEMENT that he went out and bought an '08 ELEMENT SC. My uncle also has an '06 ELEMENT EX 4WD. Thinking about it now...I have influenced quite a few folks to get an ELEMENT. Many times...I wish I had kept mine.

definitely a good buy, most common are going to be the EX 4wd...I believe the going financing rates for used (assuming your credit is in the top tier) is at or around 7.8-7.9...don't quote me...they change quite frequently...I don't have any used right now at work...but ill keep my eye out for you...

My cousin just bought white 09 with navi. It is sick. Whatever you do try to do it through a credit union. Much better rates than the stealership. (Not unless you go through (AHFC)

My Element has been a great vehicle.

2005 AWD EX, ~41,000 miles. 5 speed. Oil and filter changes, just changed the brake fluid original pads have lots of life left.

Pros

It's a workhorse for me, I use it for work projects and home stuff. Huge cargo capacity with the rear seats out.

Still small and maneuverable in the city

Cons

Flat windshield prone to rock chips and cracks (in my case), oil filter in hard to reach location, subject to high winds

You are welcome to test drive mine anytime.
