that is any car...they will not put you on the roller if they think your car is too low...so if if u want to be exempt from doing it..just slam the heck out of your car
I thought the reason why the newer cars don't get put on rollers is because they only need to get reading from the ecu (OBDII)?? I'm actually throwing a check engine light on due to turbo (running a bit rich).

Wow.. this is gonna win you over with some folks, that would otherwise be willing to help you.
I wouldn't want help from those ignorant bastards anyway. I know I'm being steriotypical as well but I have my own experiences and reasonings to believe what I believe. But I'm not all that unreasonable...

Things that happened to me:

- I was coming back from a friend's house (I helped them move) and a cop pulls me over (11pm or so). Comes to the side of my car and flashlights my eyeballs out (what is with that anyway? I mean I understand the purpose but do they HAVE to keep the light on your eyes till your blind?) and asks me "You know how fast you were going?" and of course I was going speed limit so I say "yea the speed limit". He shoots back with "You were going 1mph over the speed limit". NO JOKE!!!! 1!! ONE!!! I'm only human and ONE MPH is acceptable as human/detector error. The case was thrown out by the judge of course for being so ridiculous. COME ON...

- I'm comin back from 13hour shift during christmas season from work. I'm tired and I'm hungry (Yet I obeyed the speed limit). I was pulled over once again and was blinded (again). This time the "officer" didn't say anything but he opened my car door, reached over and unbuckled my seatbelt, pulled me out of the car, than proceeded to slam me on the side of my car followed by strip search both me and my car. I'm standing there asking what the hell is going on and he kept accusing me of being a druggie. He couldn't find anything so let me go but as he was leaving he said to me (AND I QUOTE) "Should've stayed in China you punk" and left.

Those are only two of too many situations similar to it. I don't believe that all cops are like this but it doesn't help me think too kindly of them. Far as I know they're racist bastards who are constantly on power-trip believing that they are better than everyone else because they have a gun on the side of them. And I don't like being called Chinese when in fact am Korean (I'm not too worried about it though...we do look alike) or having someone hate me because of it. I love the fact that I'm Korean and I embrace my country with both respect and loyalty. All in all I think I have the right to call them "pigs".

But I can still fail the test even if they never put in on rollers rite? I mean...they do hook a reader to the ecu and if you throw a code than don't you automatically fail?

Tuner, I can't help you with emissions places...but if you are reaching your deadline you can file for an extension at: https://secure.marylandmva.com/eMVAServices...ry.asp?sku=veip I just got 3 extra months no ?'s asked.

Food for thought.
