An SRT Motor in a S2k is not the greatest idea. For the same ammount of time and money you could easily make the F20C motor Perform IMO much better than any Mopar 4 cylinder motor.

It might be best to better look at the project you want. If power is your only concern, then building up the F20c is a much easier task.

i asked a friend if it can be done, he said yes it can but the problem will be the transmission and engine mounts. bc you have to make the engine vertical.

Ah yes, the vertical engine, it only blocks 30% of your view when you cut the big ass hole in your hood for it. Almost as good an idea as an SRT motor for an S2000. Why not take the Bell Ranger heli engine from the Y2K bike. That should fit with some chopped engine mounts.

Mo,
we're not snobs, you should know that when you post a question that requires thinking outside the box, some people will flame you.....no matter where you are.
If you need more HP, why not try nitrous? It would be waaaay to expensive to swap out the engines. Also, do you have gears? Do you have a Vortech or Comptech SC? Xviper runs 4.44 with a vortech and loves it. Those are my 2 suggestions: gears and nitrous. Also, consider an AEM stand alone management system. That way, you can really fine tune the car and squeeeze out all the HP possible. Other than that, there is a 500hp turbo on the board.... I am not a fan of turbos, they're pretty fickle.

V8 sent me a larger pic of his S. It's not 1RandyC's front bumper that I was seeing, but a pair of shadows. I openly apologize.

As I stated in my PM to you, I hope to see you at a meet soon!
