So, Joe (photographer) and I went out last night looking at various places to get shots.
Also, don't be jealous, not everyone can have Sebring Silver
That was our first location, in Wilmington. It's called Gibraltor Gardens, or some sh1t like that. All those pictures were taken in a 30' radius, just moving the car, and changing angles. It's a REALLY shaded area, so it's perfect for mid-day to early evening pics. Only draw back, the curators didn't mind me there (I was one car), but when I floated the idea of 10+ of us, they directed me to their 'how to donate' brochure. I have to call and haggle if we're interested in these types of pictures.
And my personal fav....
This is the second spot we found. It's the top of a parking garage (5 stories, 10 floors) right next to the Wilmington Train Station. Obviously we'd have to pay to play here too, but it cost me a whole $1 for the hour we were there (cheap). I also have to call ahead to ensure no one gets freaked out by 10+ S2k's rolling into the garage, and getting on the roof for an hour or so.
Timing is everything here... Sunset is preferred, which means we have like 20 minutes to an hour to get the right lighting we want. These pictures were at the tail end of the good light. It's also just kinda cool up there... The skyline is nice, and trains are hauling ass next to it.
The final shot, Joe took on the parking garage. We went back to his pad, and while eating some Fajita Quesidillas, he touched up the picture. I wanted to show you guys before and after. Note the bumper plugs are gone, the tow hook area is clean, bugs are off my bumper, the color is enhanced/balanced, and the background is enhanced.

Joe insisted that anyone with a front tag remove it for that day (we can remove it literally on the spot, and reattach on the spot if needed.) Don't worry about holes in the bumper, it's a lot easier to photochop out the holes, versus mucking with a reflective license plate.
So there we have two locations. We tried a third, down by the waterfront, but the place seemed infested with crack-heads, literally. The phrase "I can gun this bitch, and make it to that intersection with a body on my hood if i need to" was spoken last night. We'll skip that area.
He (Joe) and I are still gonna wonder around the region, looking for cool places. We still haven't found a kick ass rolling shot stretch of roads to hit, and we're trying to keep all the locations somewhat close to each other to save time.
