Hey people, I was planning on visiting my family back home in Virginia. I was wondering as it's been about 5 years since I've been home, are the police bad about aftermarket exhaust systems still? I'm traveling to Newport News, which is where my mom is at and where I'm going. I'm coming from Florida and taking my s2000. I have an invidia q300 on my car and it can be loud I guess. I was just wondering if the police really mess with you for having an import that is louder than stock. I would like to know from people's experiences as if it's going to be a big hassle I'll just fly.

 

No, don't worry about it. I'm station in Norfolk and they don't mess with me . I have a 3" berk headerback exhaust .

 

I have Q300 for about a year in VA and no trouble however to got too loud for me now loving my Tanabe.
