Smile Exhaust shop to avoid!

EDIT 2:
Thanks for everyone's help. I really appreciate the offers and a stock system is now back on my car. Sadly, I'm going to have to report that a local shop did not treat me very well and has left me with a less than amicable situation.

The following shop was very helpful during the sale, but less than willing to back up their words when I wasn't happy with their work. I'm also reporting them to the BBB along with placing their information here, hopefully as a warning to others:

http://www.meineke.net/index.asp?shop=732
Meineke Shop # 732
1524 SPRING HILL ROAD
TYSON CORNER, VA 22102
(703) 556-0804

Not only do they overcharge, but they do not honor their word. They built me a 'custom' exhaust which droned like nothing else I have ever heard, and when I wasn't happy with it, refused to refund my money. I'll admit that it was my fault not to get their 'bring it back' guarantee in writing, but it was poor customer service to refuse to work with me on this.

In any event, I hope this saves at least one of you the hassle that I just went through. Thanks for reading.

EDIT: I'll be contacting the interested parties listed in this thread. If we can't get something worked out, I'll take other suggestions/offers...

Well, looks like I'll be taking it back to stock earlier than expected . My fujitsubo exhaust has managed to shear itself away from the welded piece that bolts on to the cat. My guess is I put pressure on it going over speed bumps and whatnot, and all the city driving I have been doing recently has finally broken it free. At least it is not the cat itself, but I am still pretty about it.

Anyway, I'm looking for a stock exhaust. I'm going to need to drive this thing to Tysons tomorrow, where I will see what Midas or whatever can do with a weld, but I think they'll tell me I'm SOL. Please let me know if you have a stock exhaust you are willing to part with.

This is an immediate need, thanks!

-Brendan

I have a stock exhaust collecting dust in the garage! I'm debating on whether or not to keep it for the sale of the car, however if the price is fair, I would part. I'm located in Frederick, MD. Just shoot me a PM if your interested.

Brendan, I've got my stock exhaust. I was going to keep it for when I'll want to get rid of the Invidia but I just can't store it.

I don't want to low ball Spoolin since he was first, but if it doesn't work out with him, shoot me a PM.

Tomorrow I'm going to check and see if Midas can weld it together or something, but otherwise I'll work out something with you guys. Can either of you transport the exhaust to Tysons?

It would be tough during the week, but I probably could.

I live down the street from tysons. If you want to swing by I will take the exhaust off your hands and give you my stock setup. We can work out any other details if you want.
I'll make sure you drive away with the system installed!

Tesseract, I can get the exhaust to you no problem. It will also give me the chance to pick up that Skunk2 knob!

OK guys, I have an appointment with a muffler shop tomorrow morning. If they say it's going to be expensive, or they can't do it, I will let you know and we can figure something out! Thanks for the responses Spoolin, you have PM on the knob.

Well, I've decided I don't like the system the guy put on, and I'm willing to go back to stock. Guess I'll need to see who is still willing to part with their stock exhaust and for how much. I know there are several interested parties in this thread already. I'll be contacting you to see what we can work out.
