put my new panther + pads on tonight! what a PITA for those rear pistons. i had no idea i needed a special tool. is there alternitive to that little rubix cube of a tool?

Yup, just put your 1/2 drive in there (and maybe an extension) and push and turn.

I've got the brake caliper tool, you're welcome to borrow it.

Sears or your local autoparts store may have one.

i got all lubed up tonight!!!! woo hoo!

no really, full fluid swap.....motul rbf 600 brake fluid, mobil 1 oil and diff (couldn't get le607 in time), gm synchromesh friction modified trans, clutch fluid is fine and my bro swapped my rear inner cv's and it's like i have new axles

i think i'm just going to get some new oem pads, with the motul fluid i think i should be ok since i don't think i'm going to push her crazy hard this weekend, but still have some craaaazy fun <----is that possible?



any body want to meet in carlisle pa around 11 am with the ny metro crew to caravan down the turnpike? let me know!

Flat head screwdriver. Take care not to round off the edges.

Let's see... ...

The straights are short, but you do have two heavy braking areas. Your top speeds may be a little higher than some(provided you are on line) thus requiring more brake to get set up for T1 & T10(heavy brake zones).

Your car is heavy, so that'll require more stopping power. I can help you there. I will assist in the removal of the Elda rollbar and transport it back to my house for you- no charge. I just wanna help any way I can.
