awesome thanks. Now I get to see how yoko es100's handle...

It's a honda certified so they replaced the windshield (ppg) and put new tires on, I wish they put s02's on but oh well.
I've had a great time on the Michelin Pilot A/S tires - I'll probably get them again.

That's what I had on at Fall Colors and they did very good for an all-season tire, I think. They handle great in rain and decent in snow. As for dry grip, I felt it break loose slightly around Turn 9 @ 105mph at Beaverun.

They will say that is the oem size. And it is the number on the side of an S-02. But the contact patch is not close. As Pete stated, normally a 245 is a closer match to the S-02 225. Let me see if I can dig up some threads that outline this point that way you have some kind of ammunition, otherwise they're just going to claim that it is the oem size.

OEM tire size - non-oem tire replacement
thanks for the link Skip, I just got off the phone with the service manager and started to explain the situation... He came back with "honda near oem, blah blah" so I basically told him that even though "most owners" prefer the es100's, I'd prefer to have the s02's on it.

He thought it was a reasonable request and is looking into it now.

so far a  for Sport Honda.

Oh, if its worth offering, I've been a fan of Kumho Ecsta 712s for sometime now. Nearly as grippy as S-02s. Good central rain channel to reduce hydroplaning. Size 'em different than S-02s however if you want to get same footprint (245s for rears). Ain't for poop in the snow tho' (I keep Blizzaks on OEMs for such necessary days).

as far as all seasons go I loved the pirelli pzero nero m+s's I had on my integra back in the day... I'll be going with these.

Considering in this area, snow is cleared off major roadways fairly quickly, something like blizzaks IMO are not necessary... would you guys agree?

well Honda is replacing my rear es100's with s02's out of good faith... they said that they wouldn't replace the fronts though. I might just buy some s02 fronts for now...

Yep, as long as you're careful you'll be fine with all-seasons.
