Unhappy FFX Honda

Summary: I heard clicking from rear of car...took to FFX Honda

Results:
- They covered my drivers seat with plastic (never done before)
- My car was driven to the bay before I could even finish checking it in (never done before)
- I was called immediately when the car was ready (never done before)
- I was told what the problem was (spindle nuts loose)
- I was told everything was done free of charge even though it wasn't covered under warranty (since it was just an adjustment)
- I pick up my car in working order again.

Now...I have no idea what the heck happened there because I saw all the same old managers, but for once...I have nothing negative to say about my visit to Fairfax Honda. Since I posted the negative I thought it would be fair to post the positive. A very big to Tony and Fairfax Honda. (for once)

What they said they did to fix the noise: "Cleaned, lubed, and adjusted splines on axles and properly torqued spindle nuts"

There is some proceedure that the mechanics are supposed to do when you hear the wheel bearing noises.

They remove the hub and greese the end of the axle then put the whole thing back together and retorque the axle nut to 181 foot pounds.

They gave me the paper

thats great on your good experience
