Default Finally introducing myself

Hey Guys....I've been on the forum for a while now but I never had a chance to get everything together and post some pics and write an introduction. I finaly got myself to do it now.

The little story behind the car......I traded my Turbo LS for this s2k about 6 month ago. I wanted one so bad that I did not bother to inspect the car well, plus I kind knew the guy so I did not expect him to **** me over (wrong!).

Long story short, after all went through and I got the car I realized several things:
He ran nitrous
Diff was busted
Clutch was bad
interior trashed
wheels curbed
tires bold
axles were going
Timing chain noise

and a lot of other things that were not perfect....The car is 01 with 61k now btw.

So in a matter of 5 month I brought the car back to life, replaced the clutch, diff, axles, bought some new pieces for the interior, exterior and so on. Did all the work myself.

And last weekend I finally got a chance to take it to the track. I auto crossed on Saturday and went to Summit Point on Sunday, and let me tell you it was FUN!
Can't wait to go back.

And here are some pics, enjoy. (sorry for the quality)

Thinking back.....I would probably still get the car even if I knew about all the problems anyways

I didn't have to repaint it, but I did spend a good 8 hours detailing the car
