Finished My Rollbar Install!
I started at 1 yesterday, it only took me until about 8 to finish. Aside from some help from my wife on the rear backing plate bolts, I was able to do the whole project by myself. To anybody who tries it themselves, here is my advice:
1. A Dremel tool is a god-send, I had to widen every drill hole ever so slightly to get the bolts to actually go through.
2. Grinding out the driver side is a bitch, the sparks are flying in your face the whole time. The passenger side took me all of 5 minutes though.
3. Good luck if you try and put the plastics back in. I only got the ones around the door, and that was annoying enough.
It's a Rockstar Garage double diagonal with lowered harness bar and bulkhead replacement bar.
So when I throw in my Sparco Evo, I'm all set for the track! Using a 2g Eclipse rear belt receptacle with the stock seatbelt on it currently, it has a long tab and the right size.
BTW, anybody know a good shop to get harness anchors mounted? I'm really not keen on drilling past the fuel lines, would rather pay a professional.
Obligatory pics!

Looking good.
Harness anchor mounts aren't all that bad. If you installed the roll bar yourself you shouldn't have a problem. Like you said just be careful around the fuel lines. Measure 5x drill once.

The fuel lines are precisely why I'd choose to have someone else do the install on those for me. I think I've done enough "Oh crap is that hole in exactly the right place?!!" for one spring.
I did autocross my AP1 a couple times last year, the bar was supposed to go in that until black ice told me I couldn't have the car anymore. So I had to find a replacement or sell all my parts. I think I got a much better condition car out of the deal too.

Nice! Always nice to see another track ready S2000. Have you done any tracking before?

I'm just getting to bed now for an event at Summit tomorrow. By the way what's your name? I am Kevin.
