I did my first FATT last Friday. Freakin Awesome

It was really fun, even though 3 out of 4 sessions were wet.

The last run was by far the best (dry line) I was able to catch and pass several cars that left me in the earlier sessions.

In the wet I was shortshifting and careful not to get too greedy with the throttle, as there was several other cars that went off, including another yellow S2000...

The last instructor I had was a bit leery about getting into another yellow S2000 after that. (he was in a yellow Cobra that went off too)

I can't wait for June 20th FATT, it was well worth the expense.

It's very different than auto-cross, and much more fun, and a better value for actual driving time IMHO.

PS if you plan on doing this make sure you have good tires (low mileage)

Congrats George!...for not playing in the gravel . I can't imagine how controlled you'd have to be to track the S, or any car, in the wet. Glad you had a great time. I can't wait for the July FATT.
