If you have renter's insurance, try them first, especially if your deductable is cheaper.

i wish they would just cut me a check, but after what im going through to get reimbursed for my bike i dont know if that will happen unfortunately

Man, that sucks. I hope your insurance is faster with this stuff than with the bike. You need to move out into the boonies

Yeah. That has to suck. I had my renter's insurance through GEICO and I was able to get a check pretty quickly.

Good luck. Sorry about your window.

Sorry, sucks to hear. I usually lock all my stuff up whever I am, I try not to keep anything in view in the cockpit. I put my book of CD's in my trunk, all my compartments closed and locked. Im not taking an chances reguardless of where I am, it can happen to anyone, anytime.

You're the exception. My old car got broken into 3x in a span of 1 year. Needless to say VA FTW.

ok so i just got off the phone with insurance. the top is fully covered and they said that probably the only option is to get the top fully replaced by the dealership

now the big question is what dealership would be best to take it to?

do you guys have any suggestions? i dont want to take it to a crappy dealership and wind up having something else go wrong when i get the car back, because they installed it incorrectly, or have 50 miles put on the car from the time i drop it off to the time i pick it up.
