Default Forza Race League

A handful of us enjoy playing Forza quite often, So thanks to some boring hours at work today I thought "Wouldn't be awsome to have our own Forza League"

So here is my Idea:

8 Racers
$25 entry fee
Purse of $200
1st $100
2nd $50
3rd $25

I was thinking of using the other $25 to make trophies or something along that lines

Season
8-10 races
1 or 2 nights a week (whats best for everyone)
long laps (20-30)
pits (possible)
damage (possible)
Car Class will be agreed on by all drivers
Any Car aslong as its in the agreed Class

Assists
*Nothing Forced*
if you are better with assist on/off then thats on you.

Points for races
1st 16pts
2nd 14pts
3rd 12pts
4th 10pts
5th 8pts
6th 6pts
7th 4pts
8th 2pts

if you cause a wreck
(accidental) -1pts
(purposely) -5pts

You need to call out to the racer infront of you if are passing an on which side your are trying to do so, an the racer called should honor the announcement as best as possible
**Clean Racing is top priority**

If we have more than 8 people that want to participate we could possibly do split classes.
One night could be for one Class an the other night could be for the other class.
I have more ideas for if we have more people than slots open.
But I'll mention them if its brought up.

Post up if your intrested
An depending on who all is in an where they live will determine how we collect money.

An if you have suggestion please post them.

If this works, It could turnout to be badass !!!!

The only downside to racing for real money, is that it will greatly effect someone's driving style. I know we usually bump each other on accident, and that can instantly throw someone from 1st place to last. Even with that happening on a first lap can keep that person in last for the rest of the race.

I say we do the league thing, but not worry about the money for now. Still do the point system though. I think that's a great idea.

And I'm all for endurance races... 10+ laps on the Ring, 15+ laps at Le Mans, etc. Pits, tire wear and even mild damage. That would make things VERY interesting.

The good thing about long races(at least 45+ minute races), is that they leave plenty of room for things to change. Someone can be in 8th place for 95% of the race, but can win in the last lap.

And if we're doing "road racing" courses, I think S class and R3 class would be the best. The Porsche 911 RSR cars(R3), make for some AWESOME racing!

10-15 laps on the Ring with one of those is a blast.

Talking to Jake justa minute ago an he was saying that if everyone ran the same car in the same class would make the playing field alot closer, also would leave it up too the tuning and the drivers

In, but I'm with Fish on this one. Let's give this a shot w/o having the money involved.

You know I'm down. I think this is a great idea Kitt. I'm pretty sure this will be a success but I'm going to hang with Pete on this one and say no money involved. We should see how the first season goes and then figure out what rules need to change because there will be some and then once some solid ground rules are established we can trying playing for money season 2.

Next thing I'm going to ask about is how do you want to do point system? Is every race going to count or lets say we have a 10 race season and best 8 count?

I guess I should start actually driving then... I've only been drifting for the past 6 months. But I am pretty damn good at drifting.
