in md, i don't have a front plate, haven't gotten a ticket yet, but from what i hear i shouldn't park in dc otherwise i might get a ticket.

i've gotten $150 in fines from DC meter maids when i forget to put it up on the dash, $0 from police anywhere in MD or VA. and i'm in VA almost every weekend.
