Front VA License Plate
Forgot to tell ya that you do have to cut the plate a bit. A pair of tin snips should do the trick. If you look around the outside of the plate there is a part that is lower than the rest. Just cut it off all around. Takes about 10 minutes
While taking the pictures of my front plate I noticed some problems with my setup(some rubbing). I will be fixing it tomorrow. I plan to install a 2 brackets to the back of the plate. I take pics of the install and fabrication. Ill post tomorrow night with results.
OK... Finally got it done. It took me about 4hrs to make this setup. About 1:30 of real work. =)
The supplies needed are: SOme med. guage stainless steel(don't know what I used), tin snips and something to bend the metal. Some 3M chafing tape and a couple of screws.
Ill post the instructions on Sunday.(left my notes at the shop) but here are the pics.

MadH: You are the man! That looks awesome and stays completely within the law (I think)! How nice! You could probably make these and sell them - at least to me, since I'm too retarded to make anything like this myself!
When can I place my order?

I completely agree! MadH...you make living in VA a little easier! Please be a gent and follow thru with the instructions for making/installing. I plan to take it one step *slightly* further if possible and might add that smoked/grey LP cover that's sold at Trak Autos & such. Again, like Moonpie indicated, the plate is displayed at the front of the car...
Now I gotta go order my "bumper plugs" from Honda.

I am working on a kit to sell that will include the brackets(cut, bent, and taped), all screws needed, instructions on cutting the plate and mounting, and a template for the drilling. Should have it soon. Feel free to give suggestions on what to do/include.
