Default FS: 2003 GPW S2000

The time has come to part with my car. As most of you know, I went back to school last May and have been chipping away at my classes 1 at a time since then. Dissatisfied with my progress, I've decided to take time away from work and increase my school work load so that I can graduate in the next 12 months or so. I've tried, but there's no realistic way for me to keep the car given that I will be taking a steep reduction in pay.

I have a little over 68,000 miles on the odometer which is reading slightly high due to running a few months with a final drive swap and no calibration. I have since added the Yellow Jacket from Modifry and corrected the problem but I expect actual mileage to be closer to ~65k.

The car has been well maintained by myself since I took delivery in January of 2006 with 35,000 miles. Yes, I daily drive it, and yes it has been on a few long highway trips to really pack those miles on.

The current modifications from stock are as follows:

- Cryo-treated 4.77 Final Drive
- Comptech Adjustable Springs, stock springs available
- Polished black countersunk shift knob
- Invidia V3 (70mm) exhaust (w/ silencers)

Any of the above mods may be removed and replaced with stock parts for a reduced price at the request of the buyer. I will then sell the removed part individually. I have the stock springs, stock exhausts are easy to come by, and I'm sure someone wouldn't mind swapping diffs with me for a price so this should not be difficult at all.

- Top down while rolling
- Modifry Yellow Jacket
- JDM front/rear emblems
- 35% Tint

These mods will remain with the car.

Miscellaneous information:

- The windshield was replaced < 2 months ago due to a crack.
- The car has never been in a collision (as far as I can tell, but I am the 2nd owner)
- The tires are BRAND NEW Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position on AP1 wheels.
- The AP1 wheels have some curbing on the very outer lip. The spokes are in good shape. I'd rate the wheels an 8.5/10.
- AP2 wheels are pictured but will be sold separately, 9.5/10
- The soft top does need to be replaced! It has a hole on the passenger side. I have not had a problem with it leaking during light rain. Due to the location, rain runs away from the tear and not into it. That said, I do try to keep it duct taped during heavy storms or while washing. I feel with the mods that this price is justified, but it is negotiable. I'm not the best at valuing my car because I don't really want to sell it...

Thank you for looking!

Hate to see this, but investing in yourself is the only real choice. Congrats on a mature and difficult decision, Aaron. That said, I hope you sell it October 23.

Well, I'm trying my hardest to find something suitable for Fall Colors within my budget. You can't get rid of me that easily...

Thanks for the positive reinforcement guys. This is really tough decision. Exactly two years ago this month I discovered the S2Ki community. I hope that the next owner can appreciate it as much as I have.

Sorry to see this Aaron, but to you on the decision to better yourself. There WILL be another S in your future. And for what its worth, I am more than willing to let you co-drive my car at future CDC events
